Job Description:

Successful candidates will work with the Flash design team to architect, design and develop Data Path of NAND Flash memory products utilizing state of the art non-volatile technologies. In this highly visible role you will perform the following duties:

• Develop the Mixed Signal flow from scratch with minimal support
• Integrate complex digital circuits (verilog net list), custom digital blocks (transistor level) & the various analog blocks
• Design, simulate, and verify critical circuits using simulation tools.
• Be a technical mentor to guide, train and lead other Design Engineers in problem solving, as well as planning.
• Document and present new architectures, new and enhanced circuit designs, and simulation results during design reviews
• Propose innovative circuit solutions and design methodologies
• Communicate effectively with Off-site counterparts and sync up the teams of either sides

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical/ (Micro) Electronics / VLSI Engineering from a reputed Institute.

Required Competencies:

• 3 - 6 Years of experience in Mixed Signal design/verification of complex chips
• Understanding of the Verilog, AMS (Advance Mixed Signal) design flow
• Should be familiar with the various FE views via Synopsys’s .lib, .v, etc
• Competent in Timing & Power analysis using AMS tools
• Familiarity with Timing analysis using the standard spice flow with be an added advantage
• Knowledge of digital circuit design via SRAM, ROM, Standard Cells, IO’s
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Team player
• Prior experience in managing team

4. Cadence Schematic and Layout editor (OPUS) environment
5. StarRC-XT / Calibre xRC etc
