Experience Required:

·          Knowledge of the user-centered design process, information architecture, and usability principles

·          Strong knowledge of web standards and semantic coding practices

·          Demonstrated ability to create complex web user interfaces for ecommerce applications and social media sites using the following languages and technologies:

·          XHTML and CSS -- Are you able to build a flexible XHTML page using only CSS to position/style content?

·          XML and XSLT -- Can you take an XML file and convert it into a working XHTML page?

·          AJAX -- Are you able to create a button on a page that can trigger a JQuery AJAX call to replace a <div> with new content?

·          Flex 3 or Flash CS (Scalable, multi-language applications, etc) -- Can you create a Flash 9 or Flex application that can load XML and display content in English, French, or Japanese?

·          Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks -- Can you slice and export production ready assets from a design comp?

·          Additional preferred experience and skills:

·          Prior experience building web sites in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) or other enterprise class content management system (CMS)

·          ASP.NET development

·          SQL queries

·          Source control software such as Source Safe, CVS, etc.

·          Development environments such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, Aptana, etc.

·          Education:

·          BS degree or equivalent work experience in related field (Information Technology, Computer Science, etc)
